The Princes Highway Veterinary Hospital provides the highest level of medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. We have an in-house pharmacy, laboratory and radiology facilities, and the Veterinary Hospital is open for appointments seven days a week, for your convenience.
We also carry a wide range of pet food, prescription diets, and pet accessories, including a full range of pet leashes and collars. |
Vaccinations and Preventive Medicine:
The best way to protect your pet, from common diseases, such as parvoviral enteritis, and cat flu, is to have your pet vaccinated regularly. We have a reminder system to notify you when your pet is due for its vaccinations. |

Dental Services:
Regular dental check-ups, will keep your pet's teeth clean and healthy. We also carry a range of home-care products to supplement their dental health program.

Margaret has had more than 20 years of experience grooming dogs for the showring, and she is an expert in grooming dogs and cats.

In-House Laboratory and Diagnostic Testing:
A well equipped in house laboratory, for routine blood tests, gives us faster test results and ensures your pet will be diagnosed as quickly as possible.

Microchipping:
In compliance with recent legislation, it is now compulsory to have your pet microchipped. It only takes a few minutes to implant the microchip, which is the size of a grain of rice.

Pet Boarding:
Cats, and other small animals are welcome in our clean and spacious boarding facility.
All pets receive plenty of care and attention during their stay with us. If you would like more information, or you would like to board your cat or other small pet at our clinic, please give us a call on 9588 2088, and our friendly nurses will be able to book your pet(s) in for boarding.
We refer all dog boarders to Hanrob boarding kennels, located in Heathcote, and for your convenience, you can drop off, and pick up your dog at our clinic. Dog boarding has to be booked and arranged directly with Hanrob boarding kennels.

We carry a full line of Prescription diets, such as Eukanuba, Hills Science diet and a range of healthy treats to reward your pet.

Puppy Preschool:
Puppy preschool is a good way to teach your pet how to interact with other dogs, and to learn simple commands, such as sit, and stay. Please contact us, to enrol your puppy.

Pre-Export Health Checks:
We have an AQIS Accredited Veterinarian at the Veterinary Hospital, and he can complete the necessary documentation and pre-export health checks.

Obedience Training:
We can recommend obedience classes in your local area, as well as Professional dog trainers.

Radiology:
All X-rays are taken on site. The results from routine X-rays are usually ready the same day.

Surgical Procedures:
The Princes Highway Veterinary Hospital is a class "A" veterinary Hospital. We perform all forms of routine surgery, as well as major surgical cases, such as crutiate repair surgery. Some of the common surgical procedures performed include spays, castrations, certain Orthopaedic procedures, as well as soft tissue surgery, such as lump removals. |
